Anywhere from .5 mg to 1 mg a day. I stopped taking it because I was on it for seizures and when the underlying cause for my seizures was discovered (low blood sugar related to diabetes) I found I no longer needed it daily. I do keep some on hand in case of emergencies but do not use it very often.
