WebThis is an extremely rare platter from Birks, Rawlins & Co, who were active in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1920s and 30s. It is a scalloped rectangle of bone china which curves down towards the middle to rest on a low rim. The measurements are 26 x 21 x 2cm. The edge is gilded, the rim design including a delicate vine carrying red and yellow fruit.
